Are you a woman involved in learning, teaching, or research in a STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) field?

A new travel grant offers funding for women involved in STEM for travel that enriches their area of study or academic work.

The STEM Travel Grant is open to female employees from any Australian university, university research affiliate, or to PhD students employed by an Australian university to work in, study, or research in the STEM fields.

The grant provides $5,000 worth of airfares to be spent on Virgin Australia airfares and $1,000 for other expenses (accommodation, transportation, tours or other travel arrangements).

Applicants should submit a 500 word application on a current or recently completed STEM project.

See here for more information and to apply.

Applications close Friday 20 October 2017.
