Our Chairman is appointed Chair of the new Environment Protection Authority Governing Board

CRCWSC Chairman of the Board  Ms Cheryl Batagol has been appointed Chair of the new Environment Protection Authority (EPA) Governing Board.

Already EPA Chair (under the current governing structure) since 2009, Ms Batagol brings more than 40 years experience in waste management, water and environment sectors to the new position.

Her insights and skills will ensure continuity of leadership as the EPA undergoes transformation and major reform.

Ms Batagol’s two year appointment will take effect from 1 July 2018 when the new Governing Board commences and the new  Environment Protection Act 2017 comes into effect.
