Scientists, businesses, policy makers and community groups involved with rivers and catchments will explore links between river health and the economy a the 18th International Riversymposium in Brisbane on 21-24 September.

The theme for this year’s Riversymposium will be Healthy Rivers – Healthy Economies and the program will include over 20 keynotes and 10 special sessions covering topical issues.

As part of the conference, a panel will judge entrants for the Emerging River Professional Award, which recognises river professionals in the the early stages of their career who have demonstrated exceptional achievements related to rivers, basins or river-dependent communities.
