Melbourne workshop: Local level water management – Wednesday 21 January
The CRC for Water Sensitive Cities has partnered with Clearwater and the City of Boroondara to deliver an informative session on ‘Local level water management in a changing climate’ on Wednesday 21 January from 9am- 1:30pm.
An increasingly variable and changing climate poses risks to the delivery of water and liveability services, at national, regional and local scales.
Due to the growing recognition that water management challenges cannot be solved using a ‘one-size-fits-all approach’, there is a strong drive to focus on local level planning. In Victoria this is evident through the preparation and implementation of Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) plans, development services schemes, Precinct Structure Plans in growth areas and local level whole-of-water cycle plans.
This half-day session will provide you with a unique opportunity to hear from leading experts in this field and actively discuss how you can address these issues practically.
The session will be held at Monash University Law Chambers, 555 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne.
General registrations cost $95, CRCWSC partner and staff registrations are $60. Register by Friday 16 January.
