We would like to congratulate Professor Tony Wong, CEO on being named a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering (ATSE). ATSE is an independent body of 800 eminent Australian engineers and scientists enhancing Australia’s prosperity through technological innovation.

The 2014 new Fellows include 25 key business names, leading academics, prominent commercial innovators, professional and business leaders and high-ranking public sector figures. They come from a wide array of sectors and specialisations, including agriculture, engineering, aviation, astronomy, marine science, government, vulcanology, sustainable systems, innovation management, water management, biotechnology and medical research. All are leaders in their field.

Professor Tony Wong was specifically recognised as being “an international thought-leader on urban water management and contributes globally to government and industry efforts in delivering sustainable and resilient urban water systems. Professor Tony Wong’s contributions as a civil engineer have forged innovative bridges between theory and practice and have won him many awards.”
