Located 10 km south of Adelaide’s CBD, the 61 hectare former Mitsubishi site at Tonsley will deliver an integrated mixed use precinct that combines industry, education, training, research, and residential living and community amenities. It will be supported by low carbon and climate resilient infrastructure, technology and systems that will demonstrate innovation and excellence in urban design, governance and delivery models.

This document has been developed to bring together and articulate the most current thinking of the CRCWSC, posing a series of ‘what if’ scenarios where the results would be able to be used to test the merits of the current master plan and inform further detailed development across the site. With the view to creating a more liveable, sustainable and resilient Tonsley, the CRCWSC findings also establish a series of directives that could find application in other developments across South Australia.
