Scaling up design typologies using our Scenario Tool: training

Join us for the second seminar in our Scenario Tool training series, where we will showcase how users can scale up design typologies from lot scale to larger precinct scale.

Dylan Cain from E2Designlab will explain the design behind the typologies, and his tips for scaling up using the Scenario Tool, such as uploading custom boundary areas to achieve population projections.

Participants will follow an online worksheet with example files to simulate the case study presented. This month’s case study location is the South Brisbane precinct along Oxley Creek in Queensland.

The training is a brief, 30 minute online session in our popular Scenario Tool, which was developed as part of the Tools and Products (TAP) project. The Scenario Tool is designed to help practitioners evaluate and compare water sensitive urban development options and approaches, and their multi-faceted impacts. The aim is to deliver insights to help practitioners strategically plan complex urban systems.

We’ll be running these training seminars on the first Wednesday of every month, and each session will cover a different aspect of how our Scenario Tool can help inform urban policy. It’s a great opportunity to interact with the TAP team and ask questions about using the tool in practice.
