Be part of some ‘franc’ conversations about stormwater
What: franc.sydney 2022
When: 29–30 March 2022
Where: Dockside Darling Harbour, Sydney
So what is franc?
It's an initiative of Stormwater NSW, together with Stormwater Victoria, Stormwater Queensland, Parramatta River Catchment Group, Sydney Institute of Marine Science, Georges Riverkeeper, Cooks River Alliance, UNSW Water Research Centre and Water Sensitive Cities Australia.
This passionate group of individuals and organisations want to change how Sydney manages its stormwater, to create an industry that is Future-focused, Resilient and Adaptive as Networked Communities (franc). And it all begins by having ‘franc’ discussions.
The group is holding its first conference on 29–30 March 2022, with a theme of Staying the Course. Presentations will relate to 3 streams:
- Future focused
- Resilience
- Adaptive and networked communities.
It’s an opportunity for industry professionals, community members and key stakeholders to collaborate, share knowledge, network and learn together.
Water Sensitive Cities Australia is proudly supporting this event, and we encourage those interested in stormwater to get involved.

Have you heard the NSW Water stories?
Together with Alluvium Consulting, we recorded a series of conversations on water sensitive cities with a cross-section of people in NSW working in this space.
