Years of research have yielded great progress in identifying the benefits of green infrastructure, such as controlling stormwater and providing alternative water sources.

Dr Belinda Hatt from the CRCWSC’s Integrated multi-functional urban water systems project (C4.1) spoke to Jack Mullaly about new research on two ongoing challenges: In space-constrained urban environments, where should we best place green infrastructure? And in extended dry periods, how do we keep plants alive?
