Chris Chesterfield and Professor Rob Skinner, key faces from the CRC for Water Sensitive Cities (CRCWSC), have been announced among the chairs of Victoria’s Integrated Water Management Forums, a role that will draw on their extensive experience and leadership as champions of water sensitive urban design.

Chris Chesterfield has been appointed as Chair for the Yarra Catchment area; and CRCWSC Board member Rob Skinner will serve as both Lead Chair and Chair for the Werribee Catchment.

It’s an important function within the Department of Environment, Land, Water, and Planning (DELWP)’s recently developed Integrated Water Management Framework, which aims to support government agencies, the community, and the water sector in planning, managing, and delivering water in Victoria’s towns and cities.

As a part of bringing the Framework to life, the related forums will see Chairs kick start and promote collaboration and input from different groups, with particular focus on integrating community and Traditional Owner values into planning.
