ECOCITY World Summit 2017: Changing Cities: Resilience and Transformations
The ECOCITY World Summit, to be held in 2017 in Melbourne from July 12–14, has developed into one of the most globally significant forums for addressing the complex challenges facing humanity in a rapidly urbanising world.
The Summit will bring together a diverse mix of researchers, policy makers, and citizens with a common focus on identifying and creating pathways to more sustainable, resilient, and equitable cities. The CRCWSC will be participating in the conference – visit us in the exhibition space or come along to our presentation.
With former US Vice President Al Gore recently announced as the event’s Primary Speaker, interest in ECOCITY 2017 is high. Government and corporate organisations are also strongly supportive, alongside international associations such as ICLEI, Metropolis, and C40 Cities.
