The Australian Water Association’s Ozwater’18 brings together water professionals from across Australia and around the world, to share ideas on the future of Australia’s water.

The CRCWSC is excited to be involved in this year’s event.

  • We are presenting Workshop/Panel 4 on Tuesday 8 May:
Improving liveability and productivity of Australian cities—how can the water industry influence our rapid urban development and help to deliver this desirable outcome?

This panel session will discuss water’s role in keeping our cities liveable and productive in the face of population growth, city densification and climate change. How do we keep our cities green, cool, resilient and sustainable?

  • Several CRCWSC researchers are presenting papers on Wednesday 9 May:
    • Transition to water sensitive cities—how are we progressing?
      Kim Markwell and Celeste Morgan
    • Engaging citizens in water sensitive city transitions: lessons from Bendigo
      Alex Gunn and Emma Church
  • We will also have a stand at the Ozwater’18 Trade Exhibition (Tuesday 8 May to Thursday 10 May), the largest display of the latest water industry science, innovation, technology, products and services. Visit our stand to find out about the latest CRCWSC outputs or to talk to our presenters. You’ll find flyers, a multimedia display and our helpful staff. You can visit the Trade Exhibition without attending the conference. It's free to attend the Exhibition as a Trade Visitor, but you must register first. Just click the button below.
