The afternoon workshop will consider how to adapt design, construction and operation to put every drop of water to its best use, and build a more water sensitive and resilient urban development industry.

Our Commercial Manager, Malcolm Eadie, will open the session with Sydney Water’s Executive Drought Lead, Catherine Port, by outlining the challenges we face in shaping greener, cooler and dynamic communities. An interactive session will follow, facilitated by Research Director, Institute for Sustainable Futures UTS, Dr Simon Fane, in which participants will explore development solutions for construction water efficiency and operational water efficiency.

To close the workshop, Head of City Growth and Development at Sydney Water, Chris Gould, will give an update on Sydney Water’s planning to support development in the Western Sydney Aerotropolis.
