Measuring the uptake and impact of CRC for Water Sensitive Cities (CRCWSC) research using an evaluation framework is a vital step in learning from and improving research and adoption processes, according to a new report.

Dr Megan Farrelly, Dr Annette Bos and Sylvia Tawfik have developed the ‘CRCWSC Evaluation and Learning Framework’ as part of the CRCWSC project Development of an evaluation and learning framework to inform CRCWSC impact assessment (Project D6.1).

The authors said application of the framework, along with an Evaluation Implementation Plan and associated data collection tools, will help to encourage greater participant and end-user uptake of CRCWSC research.

The report identifies early successes, emerging issues and pathways for ongoing improvement in achieving long-term impact of CRCWSC research and it is anticipated the framework will “inform and support the design of future research and industry partners activities, and the next phase of the CRCWSC business model.”
