Postdoctoral Research Fellow (urban planning) position at Monash University
An exciting opportunity exists at Monash University for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position based in the Faculty of Art Design and Architecture (MADA). The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of the CRC for Water Sensitive Cities' Integrated Research Project (IRP) 3 ‘Guiding integrated urban and water planning’. Approximately 80% of the incumbent’s time will be allocated to IRP3, where the Research Fellow will lead and collaborate with Urban Lab staff on original research to explore water sensitive urban planning and development outcomes at a range of spatial scales. The researcher will investigate opportunities to facilitate and strengthen integration between urban and water planning processes, and identify planning options to improve the implementation and delivery of water sensitive approaches. The remaining time will be dedicated to participation within the Master of Urban Planning and Design.
