SeweX modelling to support corrosion and odour management in sewers

Abstract

Sewer corrosion and odour problems are common worldwide. The annual cost of rehabilitation of corroded sewers and other mitigation actions was estimated at hundreds of millions of dollars in Australia alone. This cost is likely to increase as the sewers get older (Pikaar et al., 2014).
