The Water Sensitive Cities Toolkit (WSC Toolkit) supports strategic planning and the development of both robust and water sensitive business cases.

Dr Peter Bach, Project Leader for WSC Toolkit, will be running a training workshop in Perth. Attendees will be taught how to use and interpret the microclimate model from start to finish using a local case study.

The microclimate component estimates the reduction in average summer-time and extreme heat temperatures achieved through changes in land surface cover (for example, increasing irrigation and tree canopy cover).

This workshop would be of benefit to people in state and local government, Water utilities, urban developers and consultants.
