Researchers from the CRC for Water Sensitive Cities are seeking local ideas about the future of Bendigo and the steps needed to achieve that future.

Between October 2017 and April 2018, Integrated Research Project 1 (IRP1) will invite participation from a broad array of Bendigo stakeholders through surveys, interviews, and interactive group workshops.

The vibrant community of Bendigo has been selected as a case study for IRP1, a national project focused on how the management of water can help shape more liveable, sustainable, and resilient cities and towns across Australia.

Aiming to leave participants with a better understanding of their community and the future role of water, workshops will include Bendigo residents as well as professionals who work in Bendigo's water, planning, and development sectors.

For further information and to register your interest in participating, check out the newly launched Water Sensitive Bendigo website or contact Emma Church on 03 9905 9766 or emma.church@monash.edu
