Meet our new board member
The CRC for Water Sensitive Cities board welcomed Greg Cash as a new member at its meeting in February 2019. Greg is Assistant Director General of Commercial Operations at the Western Australian Department of Communities. He has more than 20 years’ experience in leading, managing and developing social and affordable housing across Western Australia. His current role involves leading and delivering major land and urban development projects, as well as built form and asset management activities for the Department.
“Greg’s deep understanding of the development sector and commercial acumen will be a great asset to the board”, said Professor Tony Wong (CRCWSC CEO). “His appointment also ensures WA perspectives and priorities will continue to be reflected in board discussions.”
The board has also farewelled some members recently. Dr Mike Mouritz was appointed to the board in August 2016. Mike decided not to renominate when his term expired in August 2018, but he is still a very important part of the CRCWSC. He is currently the chair of our WA Regional Advisory Panel, a group of CRCWSC Participants and other key industry stakeholders, who develop and coordinate CRCWSC activities in WA.
Allison Hailes stepped down from the board in September 2018, for personal reasons. Allison joined the board in August 2017.
We thank Mike and Allison for their dedication to and enthusiasm for creating water sensitive cities and towns.
