Sign up to present at Young Water Professionals event

Members of the Young Water Professionals group of the Australian Water Association are invited to submit expressions of interest to present at a Professional Development Series event in Melbourne in September.

The event, to be held on Thursday 8 September, will be themed ‘Leadership in Research and Innovation’ and will feature six-minute presentations from up to eight researchers.

Throughout this series, organisers hope to challenge and inspire young water professionals about what diversity in leadership means, the benefits, why it is pivotal for organisations to have a variety of perspectives and why it is important to embrace diversity in leadership. This will give the audience the opportunity to reflect on the skills and attributes they can bring to leadership in their own organisations.

Presenters need to have had prior experience with similar short presentations.
