Introduction

The design and implementation of assets and systems within a water sensitive city influences their performance, cost effectiveness and longevity. Asset design should consider how the assets will be constructed, maintained and renewed.

Water sensitive cities typically contain green infrastructure including biofilters, raingardens, and green facades and walls. Wastewater recycling and resource recovery are also important solutions for water sensitive cities.
